eTrails eTrails is a new-generation, multiple-use software application for the creation, promotion, marketing & management of a spatially-referenced, user- and customer-specific model for sustainable development on the Internet.
Multiple Applications eTrails represents a unique, multiple search facility with an 'intelligent' spatial/geographical interface for a virtually unlimited variety of applications - offering new opportunities & benefits to product and service providers and their customers, e.g.
Further applications and beneficiaries of eTrails are: Tourism Destinations Promoting & marketing travel destinations, their management organisations, inward tour operators and individual tourism service providers on the Internet.
Internet Users Enabling prospective tourists to investigate prospective travel destinations and plan, create and book completely individualised holiday itineraries - from their home, in transit or during their holiday in the destination. The resulting eTrails route maps may be printed out as personalised travel maps and brochures and/or be downloaded to a hand-held PC and/or sent to familiy and friends by e-mail. eTrails is completely adaptable to the design of subscribers' websites and is offered at subscription rates, which are highly cost-effective when compared to the standard rates of other Internet Application Service Providers (ASPs).
